From a Mother's Heart
Great Day and Welcome! My name is Shaynise, and I am the proud mom of beautiful, brave, and endlessly strong 10-year-old girl, named Raegan.
Raegan was born with sickle cell anemia, and over the past few years, she's also been battling cirrhosis of the liver. These two illnesses have made life a constant fight - one that Raegan faces with more courage and grace than I could ever put into words.
There have been countless hospital stays, emergency trips, sleepless nights, and moments of fear I have never imagined we'd face. But there's also been laughter, video game parties in the hospital rooms, and an incredible amount of love and faith carrying us through it all.
Why We're Sharing Our Story
I started this website to share Raegan's journey - not just the medical side, but the real side of what life is like when your child is fighting for her health.
Here, I'll be posting updates, blog entries, and vlogs about Raegan's progress as we prepare for both a liver transplant and a bone marrow transplant. I'll share the highs and lows, what we're learning, and how we keep finding hope in the middle of it all.
Our goals are simple:

Because Raegan's care needs are so great, I've had to step away from running a business to be by her side full-time. Any donations or support received will go directly toward medical expenses, hospital costs, and helping us stay financially stable so we can focus fully on Raegan's health and healing.
